Feel better, sound better, and play better

Excess muscle tension can get in the way of every aspect of our playing: our technique, our sound quality, and our physical comfort while playing, in the practice room and on stage. In this experiential workshop you will learn simple yet powerful techniques for releasing excess muscle tension while playing so you’ll...

  • Feel better,

  • Have more fluid technique, and

  • Create a more resonant sound

Practical tips on relieving injuries, practicing effortlessly, and performing without fear will be included. Players of all levels are welcome.

Your Host: Joseph Arnold. Joseph is an Alexander Technique teacher and professional violinist in Philadelphia. He used the Alexander Technique to relieve his own chronic muscle injuries and now helps other strings players feel better, sound better, and play better through the Alexander Technique.
